I have to say Clipse but more so Pusha. As happy as I was to see him and Malice back together and Malice’s verses, I still think Pusha is the MVP. What Push did on that album is as elite as LeBron. Push has been doing this (by himself) for a while now and it’s not as appreciated as it should, just like LeBron’s greatness over the years. Fans are used to it. But are people REALLY listening??? I am lol. Again, love Malice and what’s he’s done for LGSEO but I honestly think there’s more to come from him now that they’re back together. Pusha however, my MVP.

Nas without question. Not just for music, for the other legends he put on his shoulders.

Clipse and Doechii. Easily.

Kendrick Lamar and Doechii put quality back on mainstream radio. My inner teenager loved the new De La album.

My MVP for hip hop this year HAS to be Clipse. Their comeback album (Let God Sort Em Out) is an AMAZING project throughout. King Push and Malice knew what they were doing with this record. Also, the feature list is PERFECT. Opening with John Legend then, going to Chains & Whips with Kendrick. P.O.V With Tyler's best feature verse. It's just a beautiful album.
