With Lonely at the Top, it captures a rapper who can still eviscerate his peers while cradling his infant child; it honors the East Coast’s boom‑bap roots while making space for introspection.
I liked how we got more vulnerability from Joey on here. While I hope "SUPAFLEE" crosses over to the masses simply because of The Neptunes homage the production pays, I def think the vulnerable moments on the second half of the album are even more important. I also liked how "BK'S FINEST" set the tone for that part of the album instead of going for the expected hype posse cut route.
