Inspired by Stevie Wonder’s ‘Songs In the Key of Life,’ Marvin Gaye’s ‘Here, My Dear,’ and the mourning of his divorce, Tyrese lets his soul cry with the most complete album of his career.
Sadly, I'm just getting hip to this album. I'm listening to it now on Spotify. I wish I had become aware of it when it was initially released. This kind of music shouldn't be so hard to discover, while the stuff that gets constant airplay and passes for "hit" music numbs my senses and leaves me unable to identify any of the so-called "artists" that are popular today. This is REAL music that we never should have strayed from.
Beautiful Pain is an incredible album. My favorite songs: Bedroom Bully, Rescue, Whatever Happened to Forever, I don't think you ever loved me. But, I love them all!
This is a beautiful and soulful album! The live music, the composition and writing are incredible
